What medications can I use it with?
The Cryo Pen™ is compatible with many medications supplied in or transferred into standard 3mL cartridges, including peptides, insulin, and GLP-1 medications where appropriate.
Can it be used for oil-based medications like testosterone (TRT)?
Yes absolutely, depending on the needle used though. Oil-based medications are thicker than water-based solutions, so we generally recommend using a larger gauge needle to improve flow.
What needle size do you recommend?
For most water-based medications, a 32G pen needle works well. For thicker or oil-based solutions, a larger gauge needle may be more suitable.
Should I have a separate pen for each medication?
We recommend one pen per medication. This helps keep your medications organised, avoids cross-contamination, and reduces the need to frequently change cartridges.
Does it hurt less than a syringe?
Many users find pen injections much more comfortable because they use very fine pen needles and the injection process is quick and controlled.
Can I travel with the Cryo Pen™?

Pull the cap off the Cryo Pen to reveal the inner glass tube that will contain the 3mL vials. This inner glass tube then unscrews from the main body of the pen.
Simply use a standard insulin syringe to transfer your solution from your bottle to the provided 3mL vials. Inject through the rubber seal.
Simply insert the filled 3mL vial into the inner glass tube and twist it back onto the main body of the pen.
Screw on a needle tip and remove the protective cap. Then slide the outer housing over the and click it on.
The pen is now good to go. Keep twisting a few clicks and push the button on the end of the pen to push the plunger up and prime the pen. Now it's good to go, simply set the dose and inject! The pen uses the same dosing principle as other reusable injection pens, where 1 click corresponds to 1 syringe unit (0.01 mL)
